Memorial Day Weekend

Wow, what a weekend we have had! It was supposed to rain all weekend but luckily it missed us. We started our weekend off visiting our friends Adam and Layce. On Saturday we went to Mighty Jumps so Jake could jump and slide. He had such a good time. Sunday we had the Brownings and Fingers over to swim and eat dinner. It really took all six adults to watch these four active little boys! Thankfully, Julianna was happy as a clam in her Baby Bjorn. Brendan, Colin, Matty and Jake had a grand time swimming and splashing with each other. What a joy to watch!

Our house has been taken over again by all the fun toys for Julianna. She tried out the exersaucer and jumper. She seems to like it for a few minutes at a time. She is just getting bigger every day. Those cheeks are certainly starting to get puff up! Such a sweet girl...most of the time.

Sandersville Trip

Well, we survived our first trip with two kids. We went to Sandersville this weekend so Julianna could meet her great grandparents.




It was a great time. Brian cooked some BBQ and the kids went to a birthday party. Jake and John Payne ran around outside. John Payne brought his tractor and boy did Jake love driving!


Jake is still there visiting Nana and Papa with his cousin John Payne. I am missing him terribly! Brian is out of town too so its just the girls. It's a very quite house!

A Day at the Zoo

Today Jake and Julianna met their friends Brendan, Colin, Davis and Ellie at the zoo. We had a great time but a two year old and two month old is a lot! Jake was all over the place looking at the animals and having a great time with his buddies. After lunch we let them loose on the playground and then followed it up with a train ride. Can't wait to go back again!

Party Time

We had a fun filled weekend. Saturday Jake and Julianna had a babysitter and Brian and I went to see Tim McGraw. It was wonderful to have a night out and see a great concert.

Sunday we went to church and saw our friend Colin Finger be baptized. Then later that afternoon went to his 1st birthday party. They set up a bouncy slide in the garage so you can imagine where Jake spent most of the time. He had a great time with all his little buddies.


Julianna is doing great! She is sleeping through the night and I am loving it. Last night she slept for 11 hours! She is getting bigger and bigger. I am already putting away the 3 month clothes and moving to 6 months.


This weekend are headed to Sandersville so Julianna can meet her great grandparents. Jake is going to stay for a few days with his Nana and John Payne. Oh I will miss him!

Julianna is 2 Months

On Monday Julianna was 2 whole months old. Which means another visit to the doctor. She weighed in at 11 pounds 8 ounces and is 24 inches long. He says she is doing great so that is wonderful.

The past two nights she has slept through the night (9:30pm to 7:00am). So hopefully she will continue the trend. I definitely love not getting up in the middle of the night.

I took a few pictures on Monday. Brian buys these graphic t-shirts at Target for Jake. So if you see pictures of him in a Jimi Hendrix or Pink Floyd shirt you know where that came from. Anyway. He found one that says Blondie for Julianna and so I had to have some pictures of her in it. Too cute!
