We had such a great weekend! Saturday we co-hosted a pig roast with our friends Dana and Gretchen, who were nice enough to have the cookout at their house. They are moving soon and we will be so sad to see them go. So it was a going away party as well.
Brian manned the grill like an expert and was obviously in "hog" heaven. Awesome barbeque, kids running around the backyard and even a surprise appearance by Elvis made for a perfect party! I think everyone had a great time. Especially Julianna...our crazy kid. She was all over the place eating, swinging, running wild, riding in the wagon, and more eating. It was wonderful to catch up with friends!
Monday Brian took Jake to his very first Braves game. Jake was very excited to go with Brendan and his Daddy. He came home all smiles with lots of chocolate on his shirt. In spite of the heat I think Jake had a good time. Just the first of many baseball games to come!

Thomas the Tank Engine
This weekend we went with the Brownings to see Thomas the Tank Engine. We did it last year and had such a good time. This year was even better! Jake loved the train yard and the train ride. He and Matthew had a blast running from tent to tent. Jake even scored his first tattoo. Yes, its still there, how many baths does it take to get rid of a fake tattoo?
The petting zoo was great fun. I stayed outside with Julianna in the stroller and took pictures. The boys loved to feed the animals and were running up to the tables to get more food...no its not free! The shrieks of joy while the goats ate out of their hands were priceless.
Next came the train ride and the boys bounded on the train and waved at me from the window. So excited to be riding on the real Thomas! After that we were all hungry and went into Chattanooga for lunch and of course ice cream!
A wonderful day with great friends! So glad we did it...can't wait until next year.

I Am Special
Here is a video of Jake's class singing a song. Jake is kind of in the back but definitely knows he is special.
There is another video on the YouTube site I created. Just click on the link under the Picasa Pictures link.

Jake Graduates
Jake had his last day of 2 year old preschool on Thursday. I went to his class party and they sang songs for the parents. It was so cute. The sang the "Bunny Polka" (his class is the bunny class so they turned the hokey pokey into the bunny polka) and "I am Special."
Jake was the "BIG" bunny that day, which meant he was the line leader and he held the flag during the pledge of alligance. 3 year olds reciting the pledge is definitely funny. (I took a bunch of video and can only upload one video to each post so sorry for all the posts).
