Disney 2015 Day 7

Since Jake got to do Jedi Training, Julianna had to do it too!  So on our final morning we decided to hit Hollywood Studios for one last Toy Story Mania ride and Jedi Training.

Julianna was super excited to battle Darth Vadar.  Jake decided to do it again...to make sure she wasn't scared.  After learning the moves she was ready.  In fact when they asked who wanted to go first her hand shot up in the air.  So, Julianna opened the show!

Maybe next year Grace.

It was such a fun week.  It was awesome that Nana and Grandma could come and help out with the kiddos.  We had an amazing time...and totally booked the bounce back deal.  Cant wait for Disney World September 2016!!!

Disney 2015 Day 6

Day 6. Yes, we have been here almost a week, but my kids are still loving it!  I guess they figure they can sleep on the drive home!  Jake and Brian signed up to go fishing in the lake outside our hotel.  Jake said it was awesome!  He had lots of fun catching fish with his friend Anthony.

The girls headed to Chef Mickey for our favorite breakfast!  Mickey waffles!!!  They got to pose with all of Mickey's pals.  Grace, as always, was super excited to see Minnie!

After breakfast we headed to Magic Kingdom for our last full day.  We hit all our favorites.  Dumbo, Buzz Lightyear, Barmstormer, 7D Mine Train, Splash Mountain and we saw Anna & Elsa!

I love this picture!  Julianna LOVES a roller coaster!

It was a great day!  We love Magic Kingdom!

Disney 2015 Day 5

Thursday, September 24.  My birthday!  Yeah, who wouldn't want to spend their birthday in the happiest place on earth?  Day 5 is Hollywood Studios day.  Jake really wants to do Jedi training, but you have to be there super early to get in line.  So I volunteer for that!  Getting Jake ready is WAY easier than the girls!!  We got to Hollywood Studios early and it was awesome...until Jake realized he forgot his Magic Band.  Ugh, tears ensued (his not mine) I am thinking how long it will take to go back to the room.  Then I think lets just ask what we should do.  5 minutes later we are in the park.  Turns out we are not the first people to forget magic bands...not even close to being the first that day!  Phew!  Crisis averted.  Got all signed up for Jedi Training!

Now we just have to wait for everyone else so we can ride TOY STORY MANIA!!!

After TSM it was Jake's turn to do Jedi Training.  He was really excited.  You learn a few moves with a light saber and then fight Darth Vader.  He was ready!

He can't wait for Star Wars: The Force Awakens to come out!

After Jedi Training we had lunch at Hollywood & Vine.  I think the kids are getting too old for the Disney Junior characters but they still like to pose with each one.

They think Jake posing with Jake is hilarious.  We also hit the Frozen Sing-A-Long, and Julianna was the only one who would ride the Tower of Terror with me.

That night we headed back to Magic Kingdom for dinner at Be Our Guest.  We had some pictures taken on the way in and I thought they were cute.

Then we had a great dinner followed up with chocolate cake!  A great way to spend a birthday!

Disney 2015 Day 4

Pool day!!!  We slept in!  So it was a lazy morning by the amazing pool at the Beach Club.  A few families we knew were staying there as well.  So after careful Disney planning we all ended up with a pool day Wednesday.  Lots of trips down the water slide!!!

That afternoon Brian took Grace and Jake to Epcot, Julianna took a much needed nap.  They evidently had a great time and met Mary Poppins.

We all headed to Epcot for dinner.  The Cristelli's and Morin's were joining us for dinner at the Biergarten.  There were so many kids and all the girls had matching dresses that their mom's made.  Totally cute!

We definitely turned some heads.  But these kiddos had a great time eating, dancing and doing the chicken dance!

We walked out watching the fireworks.  Everyone was ready for some good sleep!

Disney 2015 Day 3

Tuesday.  Big day!  We started our day by meeting the Powell's (yes we know lots of people at Disney this week!) for breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant.  The kids had a great time playing and getting ready for some Magic Kingdom fun!

After riding a couple rides it was time to split girls and boys!  Boys went off to rides roller coasters...

And the girls went to the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique.  Oh my gosh!  I cannot even tell you how entertaining this was for the adults.  These girls were loving every minute.  First they take you back and get all changed into your favorite princess costume.  Mulan for Julianna and Rapunzel for Grace.  Then they call you back to your beauty chair and your "Fairy Godmother" starts working on your hair.

And there is a nail technician and make up artist.

I have never seen Grace sit so still or be silent for so long.  She was in heaven!  After they got the girls all dolled up they turned their chair around to the mirror for the big reveal.

Finally (after you pay for this amazing experience), they send you next door for a photo shoot.  Watching Grace do her photo shoot was hysterical.  The camera loves her or maybe she loves the camera.  Julianna doesn't like to get her picture taken so hers was a little rough but click over to the photo album for more pictures.  Its awesome.

Then the photographer put the girls together. First photo went okay...

Second photo not so good.  Photo shoot over.  But this might be my favorite picture, completely shows their personalities.  Makes me laugh every time I see it.

After two hours of beautification (is that a word?) we went to find the boys.  We had to ride our favorite, 7D Mine Train.  Grace is just tall enough this trip, and she LOVED it!

After that we took the girls back to the hotel for a rest because we had dinner at Cinderella's Castle that night.  The girls loved giving each princess hugs and posing for a picture.

After dinner we joined the boys again and it was time for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  Which is basically an after hours party where kids run around and get candy all over Magic Kingdom.  But they were dressed up and happy to get piles of candy!

Grandma and Nana took Grace home early and the rest of us shut it down at midnight.  Super fun parade, short rides lines and awesome fireworks!  Good thing tomorrow is a pool day!

Disney 2015 Day 2

Our Disney days always start at the crack of dawn.  Come on, its not like we aren't up anyway, Grace wakes up at 5:30 every day!  Monday morning we headed to the Polynesian Hotel for a breakfast with Lilo, Stitch & Friends.  It was our first character breakfast of the trip and I was eager to see how Grace would react.  Last trip she wanted nothing to do with characters and Brian had to hold her just to get a High 5.  Grace totally forgot her fear of characters and smiled, laughed and hugged each and every character that came her way.

After breakfast we went to Epcot.

Finally Grace is tall enough to ride the big rides.  She is definitely a McNeely!  Arms up in the air screaming the whole way.  So much fun!  And we even ran into the Cristelli's!  Jake and Anthony had a good time walking around the countries while Grandma and Nana took the girls back for a rest.  Jake loves to do the Agent P mysteries in each country so we did a few countries before dinner.

The girls came back and we watched a street performer for a while.  He was so good, Julianna was so impressed.  He even gave her a ball to throw in a hoop.  She loved it!  We ate some yummy Italian dinner, watched some fireworks and called it a night.
