My dad bought a small pool for Jake to swim in and it was a huge success! He loved going out back and splashing Poppy. My parents had some friends over on Friday night and of course the two little boys ended up in the pool...fully clothed. But they had a blast so who really cares! The shrieks of delight were wonderful to hear.
I got to spend lots of time with my best friend, Lisa, and her kids (Madison and Christopher). I think Jake found a best bud in Christopher. They ran around like fools and had the best time together. Two peas in a pod!
Sunday my parents took us to the butterfly show and it was really neat. They had thousands of butterflies flying all around. Jake loved it, he was looking all around and trying to catch them. He did manage to catch one, luckily he let it go before any damage was done.
A great week, Jake and Julianna were spoiled rotten by Grandma and Poppy! Thanks for everything...can't wait until next year!
